2022 could be the year the island is back at the center of attention
Clubs in Ibiza have been given the go ahead to reopen in April, good news for clubbers.
According to a recent report from Diario de Ibiza, the season will start earlier in April and could possibly run until November.
Full Statement
‘The sector accelerates its opening and estimates that it will last through October, “November if everything goes extremely well” | Holiday houses in Ibiza have already received 13% more bookings than in 2019, and stays have increased from three days on average to one or two weeks.’
This is a massive lift to the islands nightlife industry, which hasn’t been completely functional since the pandemic started in 2020.
It looks like vaccine passports will be a requirement for entry so if you are planning a trip this summer, make sure you check the requirements before travelling.
