5TH ANNIVERSARY FESTIVAL POSTPONED UNTIL JUNE 2021⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣ Following in-depth discussions with the local council and emergency services, we have decided to postpone Junction 2’s 5th anniversary to 4th – 5th June next summer. We plan to replicate the line-up like for like.⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣ We have spent recent weeks extensively exploring the option of moving the festival to a later date, however, given the Government’s position that emergency services may not support major events, combined with the strain that will be placed on our public services over the coming months, it would be irresponsible of us to risk of adding any additional burden to the NHS and other emergency services.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣ We would like to take this opportunity to express our deepest appreciation and respect for all those confronting this emergency. We would also like to thank everyone for the phenomenal support shown towards Junction 2. This summer’s instalment was set to be our most successful with the strongest line up in our history, and the majority of tickets already sold.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣ We have spent the last 5 years working to build Junction 2 up to be the much-loved event it is today. To not see the 5th anniversary come to fruition has been extremely tough. However, as the wellbeing of all our staff, crew, artists, and attendees is our number 1 priority, there is no alternative for us other than to postpone to 2021. We look forward to seeing you all next June when we will return stronger than before.⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣ By holding onto your ticket for the 2021 festival you will be securing your attendance at this year’s price.⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣ If you cannot join us next June, you can get the face value of your ticket refunded via the ticket outlet you purchased it from. Please contact them directly for this. Refunds will be available until 30th April 2020.⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣ We will be announcing plans to mark our June festival weekend this summer with a very special online event, full details to be revealed soon. We also hope that many of you will join us at our first overseas festival in September as ION goes ahead in the beautiful village of Dhërmi, Albania.⁣ ⁣ Please look after yourselves and your loved ones. We look forward to dancing together.
