Calling all music producers and synth lovers: the Korg Wavestate synth line has been expanded!
Korg has announced three new Wavestate synths.
The Wavestate, which debuted in 2020, is a digital synth that creates sounds by piecing together short samples using a technique called wave sequencing.
The Wavestate MK II is an enhanced version of the popular Wavestate synthesizer, featuring new sounds and software. The Wavestate SE is a completely new instrument that offers 61 keys, hundreds of built-in dynamic sounds, extensive hands-on control, and 120-note polyphony. Korg has also added a limited edition SE Platinum to the range.
The Mark II is priced €899/£699. The black SE is €2,199/£1899 and the SE Platinum is €2,399/£2099. All are currently available in Japan, with worldwide shipping expected to commence over the coming months.
