Bandcamp Fridays are back in 2024, as previously announced in December 2023. The dates have now been published.
As some of you may already know, Bandcamp Fridays began in March 2020, during the height of the Covid-19 outbreak, when venue closures resulted in a loss of income for artists.
Bandcamp statement
“In addition to helping artists pay the rent, or fund album recordings and tours, Bandcamp Fridays have also became a beacon for artists and record labels looking to raise awareness for causes or raise money for charities.”
The next dates are as follows: 5th April, 3rd May, 6th September, 4th October and 6th December.
