Lutz Leichsenring is behind this new project

The Creative Footprint is a non-profit initiative that has been set up recently by Lutz Leichsenring of Berlin Clubcommission to measure, engage and advocate for creative space in urban areas.

Berlin was the first city to be analysed and presented this week at the Music Cities Conference with a score of 8.02 out of 10.

Research was gathered by CPF working with the nightlife experts, local creatives and data analysts to find that for every 7,000 inhabitants there is a venue and that over 46% of artists do not play their own work however the majority of events feature locals.

Head over to the Creative Footprint site and find out some more interesting stats.
