Licence Suspended!
I reported on Thursday that Fabric London would be temporarily closed over this weekend but it has come to light on Friday 12th August, Islington Council have suspended the club’s licence altogether.
The Club is now under review following a request from the borough’s Police team and there will be a full hearing next month to determine the club’s fate.
An Islington Council spokesman said: “After two recent drug-related deaths, the Metropolitan Police applied for an interim suspension of Fabric’s licence.
“Fabric agreed not to contest this application, and a licensing sub-committee has today suspended Fabric’s licence.”
I have not seen any statement released by the club as yet and I hope the club can overcome the hearing next month.
