New deal will be a boost for artists
Facebook has finally agreed to a licensing deal with Universal Music Group after reaching out to music labels in 2015/2016.
This new agreement which also covers Instagram will allow users of either service to upload and share videos containing music from any of UMG’s artists meaning videos will no longer be removed due to copyright issues!
Facebook are also rumoured to be in talks with Sony Music Group and Warner Music Group.
