Digging deep in the music capital of the world
Following on from my record shop guide in London last month, Berlin is the next stop.
Bikini Waxx Records
A discreet record shop located in Kreuzberg, just a few minutes from the popular Skalitzer Strasse.
Bikini Waxx has been on the scene since 2013 and has a vast range of vinyl records on offer, you might even find a few UK Garage releases hidden on the shelves.

Located a few minutes from Rummelsburg station, this record store is the hot spot for the minimal electronic sound.
Run by music lovers, you can enjoy a coffee whilst you dig through the fine selections of minimal house to deep dub techno.

Hard Wax
The longest running record store in Berlin, Hard Wax has been around since 1989 and is well known across the globe.
A must visit for anyone looking to find all the best electronic dance music including 80s & 90s house classics from Chicago and Detroit.

60Waves
Founded by Dana Ruh, 60Waves is not just a store but it also offers music consultancy to record labels and artists.
Once inside, you will find bare bricked walls with decks located through the second half of the store and often you will catch DJs playing whilst you browse the crates.
60Waves is more like a community space than just another store.
You can mingle & have a drink whilst buying the latest vinyl.

OYE
OYE began back in 2002 in the basement of a house in Prenzlauer Berg and has since opened a second location across the city in-between Kreuzberg & Neukölln as known as Kreuzkölln.
The Prenzlauer Berg store has a bigger selection split across three rooms with the biggest selection being house & disco but you will also find a few UK Garage releases.

Space Hall
Space Hall is a must visit for vinyl collectors with three large rooms filled wall to wall with records.
In the first two rooms you’ll find a mix of industrial sounds and in the third room, electronic and dance music.
