Musicians have been spoilt this week with new toys revealed
Roland TR-6S
Roland went all out this week by revealing not one but two new drum machines to add to the collection.
Based on the popular & well loved TR-8S, say hello to the TR-6S which is a 6-track version in a more compact and affordable package!
The TR-6S gives users all the same functions as the TR-8S but with six tracks of advanced drum sequencing instead of 11. This means you’ll get all the detailed circuit models of all the TR Drum machines plus a large preset sample library and of course, room for your own custom samples..
Lets not forgot, this compact package from Roland also comes with a FM engine, a bunch of built-in effects and it will run on batteries!!!
Roland TR-06
Drum Machine no2 and I have to say, it looks rather smooth!
The TR-06 is the newest member to be added to the Boutique range and is a replica of the classic TR-606 with some major updates…
The 606 sound is distinctive with the TR-06 getting all the sounds plus some variations and tweaks. There is also the step sequencer but its been updated and now features adjustable sub-steps for ratcheted parts and step-loop for instant pattern slicing.
The TR-6S will be available in November 2020 costing $400 with the TR-06 being released later this month costing the same $400.
