The famous turntable gets a fresh look
Technics has announced a matte white version of its iconic SL-1500C turntable in response to “high demand” for various colours.
The new SL-1500C turntable, which will be available to buy in May, has the same technical specs as previous versions, including a direct-drive motor, pre-mounted cartridge, integrated phono EQ and automatic tonearm lift.

“From our experience with Limited Edition models, we have seen a high demand for additional colour versions of our designs, especially for turntables. Many clients look for stylish colour alternatives, reflecting the minimalistic design language of modern contemporary interiors”, says Frank Balzuweit, Senior Product Manager at Technics Europe.
“The new clean white tone underlines the SL-1500C’s pure and simplistic aesthetic, employing only the most necessary operational elements needed on a turntable”.
Expect the price tag to be the same as the other colours (black & silver), £1099.
