From December The Fees Rise By Around 42% For Foreign DJs & Artists
From 23rd December 2016, the fee for the Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker jumps from $325 per person to $460!
This visa is required for all artists, musicians and of course DJs travelling to the US for work.
With the fee already so high at $325 per person on top of an artists travel costs, booking fees, venue and promotional costs, why would the US want to increase it by 42%…
I am really not sure what the thought process is behind this increase but I think it is ridiculous especially if the cost of ticket prices start to increase to cover this fee!
