Overview

“We’ve entered a more thoughtful era of streaming that prioritises quality over quantity, with creators and platforms investing in immersive entertainment experiences that put premium sound at the forefront”, said Maxime Bouvat-Merlin, SVP for Hardware and Operations at Sonos. “Sub Mini is a welcome addition to the Sonos family, rounding out our home cinema product line-up so listeners can experience cinema quality sound that makes them feel like the main character – or player – in their favourite content”.

The Sub Mini weighs only 14lbs, is 12-inches tall, and 9.1-inches in diameter which compared to the Sub (Gen 3) is tiny.

According to Sonos, the Sub Mini should be paired with either the Sonos Beam, Sonos Ray or Sonos One units and is designed for use in small to medium-sized rooms, whilst the standard Sub is intended for larger areas.

This small but mighty subwoofer is available to preorder now (available from 6th October 2022), comes in black & white and is priced at £429 / €499.
