September Music round up

Starting with September, I’ve decided to dig into my favourites releases, featuring a new label and some well-known artists.

Hooked Up/Did It – Dem 2

The duo Dem 2 who have been hitting us with good solid music since the 90s, dropped these tunes at the beginning of the month and all I can say is “take me to the dancefloor”.

This is the old skool garage sound we all know and love with sexy vocals alongside a 2-step beat.

Pressurised Beats Vol 1 – Dubplate Pressure/Jay Ward/Pressurize

A new label by UK artist, Jay Ward. After announcing his imprint ‘Pressure Point Audio’ back in August, this 4-track digital EP was dropped in the middle of the month and features some slamming basslines.

Every tune on this EP packs a punch, with a piece of real heavyweight Jungle thrown in with ‘Heaven’.

Take U There – Chavinski

Chavinski (aka Coco Bryce) dropped this cheeky 2-step x breakbeat two-track EP with RnB vocals

The vinyl sold out almost immediately but don’t fear, the digitals are still available to buy on Bandcamp, click here.

Under The Hood EP – The Stab Mechanics/Mike Jung/Enrico Dragoni/HAF

Hot out of Brussels, a brand new release from the Bumpy Ride label.

This is a vinyl-only release with four tracks with four tracks jam-packed with melodies, thumping basslines, and catchy vocals by Enrico Dragoni, Mike Jung, The Stab Mechanics and HAF. It’s a must-have for your record collection.

UK customers can order via DnR Vinyl, EU customers can order here.
